Knoxville’s patriotism will be on display next week for the 4th of July. Ladd Montegna, says there were 286 flags on display for Flag Day, and there will be more for the 4th. He says there have been donations and help from Knoxville Farm and Home, Advance Transmission, Raceway Tire, Thompson’s Station and McCorkle’s Hardware. Montegna says this is a community project, and if anyone in the community notices anything amiss with the display, whether a problem with a flag, or a pole, to contact him or any member of the Lions, because they do not want to see a flag disgraced.

If you see a flag or pole that is damaged or missing, call Ladd Montegna, at 641-891-7254.
