Saydel did not treat the visiting PCM baseball and softball teams well on Friday night, winning in a blowout and one-run contest. Mustangs’ softball dropped 4 – 3; Jenna Uitermarkt and Abby Waddell each had a hit. PCM’s baseball team was the victim of an 11-run fourth inning and they fell 16 – 3 in five innings. The Mustangs committed four errors, while the pitching staff allowed 13 hits. Trey Lindsay had two hits at the plate to lead the charge offensively for PCM, who falls to 5 – 4 on the year, and the softball team is now 9 – 2. The boys are off until Monday to play Nevada, and the girls get right back on the dirt tonight for a tournament in Eddyville.
