Pella Christian pulled off the sweep over Pella in softball last night 8-7 in game one. Taylor Hartson provided the dramatics as she hit a two run homer to end the game and cap a four run seventh for the Eagles. In game two it was all Pella Christian as the Eagles got a one hit gem from Natalie Vos to win 7-0. She was helped out by stellar defense. Coach Karen Harrell told KNIA/KRLS Vos kept ahead of the count the entire game. Pella Coach Krista DeMeulenaere said her team did not adjust as well at the plate as she would have liked. Alexa Dingeman took the loss allowing seven runs on seven hits walking five and striking out three. Pella Christian is now 7-4 on the season and 3-3 in the Little Hawkeye Conference while Pella drops to two-and-ten on the season and 1-4 in the conference.
