East Union was tripped up by Pleasantville on the diamonds last night. Trojans’ softball came out on top 6 – 2 thanks to a stellar pitching performance from Bailey Oliva. She gave up two earned runs on three hits and she struck out 11. Traci Kunze had a pair of hits, and Avari Heinz-Pence went deep and knocked in two runs. The baseball team took just five innings to dispense of East Union, 11 – 1. Riley Krichau was the winning pitcher, giving up just one hit. Josh Luna had a pair of doubles at the plate and he drove in four. Both teams take to the bus for their next games later tonight against Southeast Warren.
