Down 2 – 0 after the top of the third, the number-one ranked Twin Cedars’ baseball team scored seven unanswered, including a six-run fourth to jet past number-three Van Buren last night, 7 – 2. Corey Harrell drove in the game’s first run with an RBI single in the third, and tacked on two more with a single in a fourth, that saw the Sabers bat around. Coy Moore pitched the final five innings in relief of Trace Embray and got the win. Coach Matt Miller says Embray did exactly what was planned for him on the mound. The Sabers improve to 10 – 0 on the year and will host Tri-County Thornburg later tonight.
