Twin Cedars’ softball made mincemeat out of Diagonal last night. Both games lasted just three innings, as the Sabers won game one, 12 – 0 then finished the Maroons off with a 14 – 0 slaughtering in the nightcap. Mackenzie Sedlock and Jensen Hastings were the winning pitchers. It was Hastings’ first varsity win of her career, allowing just one hit, walking two and striking out six. She was also 3-for-3 at the plate in game two with a pair of RBIs. Marisa Lundy contributed three hits with four RBI’s. Twin Cedars improves to 7 – 5 on the year and they are off until Tuesday to take on Melcher-Dallas.
