There are still plenty of opportunities for young artists in Pella to flex their creative muscles at the Pella Community Art Center. On Monday from 9:30 to 11 a.m., the graffiti process project takes a different approach to painting and collage work. Each person will start their project with a piece of poster board and draw a quick few basic shapes. Artists will then trade places with each other to add items from the collection of magazines, newspapers, collage items, and markers to the boards. The course costs $6 for residents and $7 for non-residents, and is for kids ages 8 and older. The last “Art in the Park” class takes place with the AM Kiwanis on July 23rd from 9:30 to 11 a.m. The cost is $2 per child.
