There are plenty of classes for youngsters to try out this week at the Pella Community Art Center, and the focus is on ceramics. On Tuesday, they’ll be hosting two sessions of “Clay 101,” a course aimed at teaching kids ages 8 and older the basics of working with clay. Session one is from 9 to 10:30 a.m. and session two is from 12:30 to 2 p.m. One session costs $6 for residents and $7 for non-residents. Completed projects must be picked up between July 21st and August 1st.
