The postseason is here for the Knoxville Baseball Squad. After a week of prep…the Panthers are ready to head to Centerville tonight to face first round opponent Keokuk. The two teams actually have a history with each other with Knoxville holding a 4-1 series edge all-time, but this is the first time the two teams have met in postseason. Keokuk is from the Southeast Conference where the Chiefs finished tied for second place behind champion Fairfield. Knoxville was third in its final season in the Little Hawkeye Conference, something that Coach Joel Johnson was very pleased with. Keokuk comes in with a 20-18-1 record on the season while Knoxville is very similar at 19-13.
