A busy and important week for Pella High softball starts on Monday when they stay at home for two with Newton. The Lady Dutch will also be playing a doubleheader with Knoxville on Tuesday to finish their regular season before starting one-and-done regional tournament play with Grinnell on Thursday. Pella has won six of their last eight, and Coach Krista DeMeulenaere says her girls will use that momentum to turn the tables on Newton, who beat them 7 – 4 in the later innings earlier this season. Game one of the doubleheader is scheduled for a 6:00 p.m. first pitch.
