Area law enforcement offices are taking part in a Special Traffic Enforcement Program through Monday. Lt. Aaron Fuller, with the Knoxville Police Department, says this means there will be more officers on the streets, watching for seat belt use, speeders, and drunk drivers. The Marion County Sheriff’s Office High-Five enforcement program is ongoing as well. Sheriff Jason Sandholdt says that program combines education, enforcement and engineering, which will help to identify areas in Marion County where accidents are more prevalent.
