Hopefully putting a pair of frustrating losses to Pella and Pella Christian behind them to finish their regular season last week, the PCM baseball team takes on Albia this evening in the Class 2A district semifinals. The Mustangs did have the luxury of a first round bye, something Coach Shaun Hudnut says was extremely important because of the pitching and how many games his team would have to play in a limited window. Tonight’s game is at Eddyville-Blakesburg-Fremont and is scheduled for a 5:00 p.m. first pitch.
