Pella High baseball had their four-game winning streak come to an end yesterday with a 6 – 5 loss to Perry. The Bluejays scored three runs in the sixth to mount the late comeback. Grant Judkins hit a solo home run, Marcus Wittmer had two doubles, and Tanner Wood also had two hits, as the Little Dutch outhit Perry offensively, 9 – 7. Pella only committed one error on defense, and Coach Jesse Jablonski tells KNIA/KRLS Sports that his team is playing very loose and confidence is high heading into Friday. The Little Dutch are 23 – 13 on the year, and wrap up their regular season with a game against Nevada tonight.
