Republicans gathered on Saturday at the Coffee Connection in Knoxville and at Monarch’s in Pella.
Candidates for statewide and local offices were available for questions. Governor Terry Branstad attended the Knoxville event. Other candidates included Secretary of State candidate Sam Clovis, Auditor of the State of Iowa Mary Mosiman, Attorney General candidate Adam Gregg, 2nd District Congressional candidate Marianette Miller-Meeks, State Representative Greg Heartsill, State Representative Guy Vander Linden, State Senator Amy Sinclair, and State Senator Ken Roozeboom. The event was hosted by the Republican Party of Marion County Central Committee.
Adam Gregg, candidate for Iowa Attorney General, is a Central College and Drake Law School graduate. Gregg told KNIA/KRLS News that he knows Marion County well, and that Marion County voters are of great importance to the Republican effort.
