There is literally no stopping the Twin Cedars baseball team. The Sabers sliced the Bulldogs of Ottumwa last night, 5 – 1. Ottumwa took an early 1 – 0 lead in the first, but the Sabers got them back quickly, picking up two in the second. Twin Cedars held onto that slim margin until the sixth when they plated three more. Coy Moore had three hits at the top of the Saber line-up, and Corey Harrell had a hit and two RBI’s in the win. Otis Roby was the winning pitcher, allowing the one run on just three hits while striking out ten. Moore had the save, pitching the final two frames of no-hit ball, giving up a walk and striking out three. Twin Cedars is now 27 – 0 and will play Davis County later this evening.
