The summer months in 2014 haven’t seemed much like summer for the most part this year. Not too many days has the mercury in the thermometers risen past the 90 degree mark. Last year at around this time, we were dealing with temperatures close to 100 degrees, even at night when football games were about to kick off in weeks one and two. PCM head football coach, Greg Bonnett says he personally prefers the warmer weather during practices in the preseason so his guys get used to the heat and playing conditions they face the first few weeks of the regular season. PCM will clash with Pella Christian for their first football game of 2014 this Friday night in Monroe.
