Back for her third season, Pella High head volleyball coach, Catie Brand, is ready for the 2014 fall season to get going. The team has attended camps, played in summer leagues and officially started practice yesterday for this coming campaign. Coach Brand says she’s excited to grow the volleyball program even more, and adds that her returners and the incoming freshmen have a drive to at least duplicate last year’s success. The Lady Dutch went 21 – 16 last year and made it all the way to the Class 4A regional final, where they fell to Indianola. Pella begins the season on August 28 at home against Ballard.
