In their first ever trip to Virginia, the Central volleyball team came away with a split in their two matches yesterday. The Dutch fell to Roanoke, 24 – 26, 22 – 25, 25 – 21 and 18 – 25 to begin the day. Central would rebound and hit .324 to sweep the host team, Averett, 25 – 23, 25 – 23 and 25 – 18. The Dutch begin the season 1 – 1 on the year, and they’ll take on Emory & Henry and William Peace to conclude their trip today.
