Iowa Conference soccer continues to be a difficult mountain to climb for all eight schools in the league, and this year will be no different. Loras has been tabbed to finish first for both men’s and women’s soccer in the conference for 2014. For Central, the women have been picked to come in fifth while the men were voted sixth. The Dutch women were 3 – 3 – 1 in league play a year ago and the men were 2 – 5, but both squads return deep and talented teams with several letterwinners and All-Conference selectees among the mix. Central’s men open up the 2014 season with a home game in two days against Wisconsin – Oshkosh, and will join up with the women on Saturday up in Minnesota against Morris.
