Emergency crews responded to an electrical box on fire at a Lake Red Rock campsite Friday morning.

At appoximately 10:20 a.m., a caller informed Pella Dispatch about a fire at Howell Station Campground. Pella Rural Fire responded and the fire was mostly contained upon arrival. Pella Ambulance and a Marion County Sheriff’s Deputy responded as a precaution. The Army Corps of Engineers was also notified. Nobody was injured.
