Pleasantville Fire and Rescue, Pleasantville Police, Knoxville Fire and Rescue, and possibly other agencies responded to a house fire at 305 West Jasper St. in Pleasantville. The fire was extinguished in approximately one hour. The home wasn’t occupied by the family at the time but two pets succumbed. Authorities on scene tell KNIA/KRLS news that a preliminary investigation indicates that the fire was electrical, and started in the basement. Damage to the home has made it uninhabitable.

County records show that the deed to the property is held by Michael and Carisa Dabb.
