The Knoxville Volleyball Squad won three of five matches last night at the season opening Newton Invitational.The Panthers beat the host Cardinals 21-8 and 21-14, then lost to Dowling Catholic 21-5 and 21-12. Knoxville came back to win the next two matches beating Oskaloosa 21-17 and 21-17 and Carlisle 21-10, 18-21, and 15-8. The Panthers ended the evening losing to ADM 21-15 and 21-13. Knoxville begins its season at 3-2. The Panthers will have a week and a half off before their next event which is the ADM Invitational on September 4th.
