A local man is trying to help combat the Ebola outbreak overseas.

Earl Ratcliff with Safe Water International Ministries says the organization is sending chlorine producing units, or CPUs, overseas to Liberia where the chlorine will be used as a disinfectant for various applications. According the Centers for Disease Control, the majority of Ebola cases in humans have occurred as a result of human-to-human transmission.
