The Pella City Council is holding a special meeting this week to discuss the city’s long term water supply plan.

City Administrator Mike Nardini says the board will provide an update on the plan, an overview for the timeline, and discuss the required financing. He says the plan revolves around two components: the addition of a new Jordan Well and adding a reverse osmosis system to the water treatment plant. Nardini anticipates the project will cost the city roughly $14.5 million over the duration of the upgrades. The special meeting is on the lower-level of City Hall at 7 p.m. on Tuesday.
