The Pleasantville football team dropped their 2014 season opener 21-0 on Friday night to Colfax-Mingo. Quarterback Zeb Adreon would lead the team in rushing with 52 yards on 12 carries while finishing up with 41 yards through the air. The Trojans would struggle offensively, rushing for only 119 yards on the night while turning the ball over a total of seven times. Despite the loss, head coach Gabe Bakker felt good about his team’s defensive performance. Pleasantville falls to 0-1 and will look for their first victory of the season next week at Eddyville – Blakesburg.
