As you could expect, a whopping ten Twin Cedars baseball players were on the 2014 All-Bluegrass Conference team after an undefeated season. A total of eight Sabers were named to the first team All-Conference. Twin Cedars’ dynamic duo of pitching, Coy Moore and Otis Roby were voted to the first team, along with catcher Hunter Embray, first baseman Corey Harrell, the outfield trio of Brent Parker, Drew Carlson and Trace Embray also made it, while Garret Pettyjohn was selected as a utility man. Third baseman, Collin Still was selected to the second team all-conference, and Dylan Springer was chosen as an honorable mention. The Sabers went 36 – 0 in 2014 and for the first time in school history in any sport, were state champions in Class 1A.
