For the first time in several years, the Central football team, in the comforts of Ron & Joyce Schipper Stadium, will play a game under the lights this evening. Monmouth is in the Tulip City tonight for a non-conference match-up. Each team is 1 – 0 to begin the year; the Scots have returned 17 starters from a .500 team from a season ago. The big question mark for Central tonight is the health of senior quarterback Aaron Eisler, who was injured in their victory over Benedictine last Saturday. Dutch Coach Jeff McMartin says that if there was an official injury report at the division three level, Eisler would be listed as questionable. Tonight’s game can be heard live on 92.1 KRLS and streamed live at KNIAKRLS.com with Trevor Castle, George Wares, and Andrew Schneider on the call. Pregame coverage starts at 5:40 p.m. with kick-off at six.
