A 13’ goal by Augustana was all they needed to down Central’s men’s soccer team yesterday by a 1 – 0 final score. It’s the third straight game, and fifth overall this year, that the Dutch have lost by a one-goal margin. Austin Little did what he could to keep Central in the contest, by stopping nine shots on goal by the Vikings. However, Central unfortunately did not create many scoring chances themselves, only putting three shots on goal in the game. Central falls to a 2 – 7 – 0 record, and they begin conference play this Saturday in Dubuque against Loras.
