Wartburg managed to distance themselves further from the second place Central women’s golf team in the second day of the Iowa Conference tournament in Cedar Falls. The Dutch were led by Kelsey Van Tasell, who carded an even par round of 72 to move her into a tie for second place individually with a total score of 151. Her 72 was also the third-best score in Iowa Conference women’s golf history. Van Tasell is just one stroke off the lead. The Dutch trail the Knights by 37 shots, while still holding a 35 stroke advantage over third place Luther. The conclusion of the tournament takes place next Friday and Saturday in Dubuque at the Dubuque Golf and Country Club.
