Central’s football team, fresh off of a loss to Monmouth, has a prime opportunity to enter their bye week with a little momentum against Maranatha Baptist today. The Dutch were shutout in the second half after getting out to a 21 – 7 lead against Monmouth, before falling 28 – 21. The Sabercats are averaging less than 180 yards of total offense per game through two contests, and have been demolished in their two contests so far this season. Coach Jeff McMartin says the Sabercats’ air attack could present some problems. You can hear today’s game live on 92.1 KRLS and KNIAKRLS.com, with Cory Houser and Andrew Schneider on the play-by-play. Pregame starts at 12:40 with kick-off at one.
