Three first half goals by Monmouth were enough to sink the Central men’s soccer team yesterday in a 4 – 2 final in Pella. Adelmo Marchiori IV scored 91 seconds after a Monmouth goal in the 17′ to tie the score at one, before the Scots scored three unanswered to put the game seemingly out of reach. Salvador Villanueva had Central’s final tally, assisted by Aleksander Glavas in the 59′. The Dutch men are 0 – 3 on the year and will head up to Wisconsin this Friday to take on Maranatha Baptist.
