Playing in their second tournament in a three-day span, the Central women’s golf team still finished second at the Simpson Invitational on Monday. The Dutch carded a 384 team score in the six-team tournament, which was won by DMACC who finished 19 strokes ahead of Central. Freshman Christine Ausman led the way for the Dutch with a round of 90. Central is back in action this weekend in Cedar Falls at Pheasant Ridge Golf Course in a quad meet with William Penn, the Storm, and Grinnell.
