Taking the reins of the starting quarterback job in his sophomore year from departed senior, Coltin Collins, David Kacmarynski is already showing signs of growth after just one start. The sophomore helped lead the Eagles to a victory in an offensive battle with PCM on Friday, 44 – 30. Kacmarynski threw for 180 yards in the win with a touchdown and an interception. A majority of those yards and targets were to fellow sophomore, Levi Jungling, who ended up with seven catches for 113 yards. Assistant coach, Darryl DeRuiter, says the two athletes have a connection from well before high school. The Eagles are gearing up for their 2014 home debut this Friday night against Lynnville-Sully.
