Knoxville participated in the Central College High School Invitational Saturday.The boys finished tenth in the tough field. Cade McNeil led Knoxville with an 86th place finish in a time of 19:21.2. The girls were unable to score due to not having enough runners because of injury and illness. Kaeline Schueke had the fastest time for the Panthers at 20:46.5. Coach Michael Splavec told KNIA/KRLS Sports he was a little disappointed in the results, however was glad to have a meet where they runner could use as a stepping stone to see where they are. Knoxville gears up for a meet Tuesday in Grinnell.
