Nearly all of the Pella High varsity runners who scored in last night’s meet at Ballard placed in the top ten, and the Dutch came away with a boy/girl sweep in the Bombers Invitational. The Little Dutch scored 20 total team points, just five short of the minimum, and were led by Adam Sievers who placed first, Nick Bernhagen crossed in third, Ben Warner fourth, and Sawyer Burton fifth. Pella’s girls scored 28 points, with Tess Roorda winning the meet, followed by Kelcey Blommers in third, Ciara Buchheit in sixth, and Payton Phelps in seventh.
