PCM earned a pair of victories in their second tournament of the season this weekend at Bondurant-Farrar. The Mustangs dropped to Des Moines Christian, Williamsburg, and Waverly Shell Rock before finding their first win of the season against West Marshall, 21 – 16 and 21 – 16. Katie VandeWall and Regan Olson each had four kills and Kayla Jennings had five. Jayci Vos added ten assists for PCM, who followed that up with another win over Des Moines Roosevelt, 24 – 22 and 21 – 14. Courtney Van Houweling had five kills and eight digs. PCM finished the day with a loss to Davis County, 16 – 21 and 16 – 21. The Mustangs are now 2 – 8 on the year and they’ll take on Carlisle on the road on Tuesday.
