For the first time as the skipper for Knoxville football, Coach Eric Kellar will lead his team inside of Ken Locke Stadium to do battle with Centerville this evening. Both schools are fresh off of less-than-stellar performances in Week One where they both combined for seven points and 216 total yards of offense, 170 coming from the Panthers. Coach Kellar says that they made zero adjustments on offense this week in practice, and it will all boil down to execution.

Kellar will also be leading his team on a “Panther Walk” into the stadium before the game. The varsity squad will walk to Ken Locke from the high school, and the coaches, players and faculty would like for you to line the street and support the Panthers in their 2014 home debut. Tonight’s game can be heard live on AM 1320 and FM 95.3 KNIA and online at KNIAKRLS.com with Tony Correa and Kevin Wadle doing the play-by-play. Pregame coverage starts at 7:00 p.m. with kick-off at 7:30.
