Pella Christian’s volleyball team improved to 2 – 0 in the conference with a resounding 25 – 20, 25 – 17, and 25 – 11 sweep of Oskaloosa yesterday. Abby Pleima had 24 assists, ten digs and five aces, Andrea Horstman had ten kills, and Rebecca Gritters had eight kills and two blocks for the Eagles. Coach Cindy Nikkel was looking for a more reliable offense last night. The Eagles are now 6 – 8 on the year and they will be in a tournament at New Sharon this Saturday.
