As heard on KNIAKRLS.com, the Pleasantville football team, was able to pick up their second consecutive win on Friday night as they took down Martensdale-St. Mary’s, 34-8. The Trojan defense was strong once again, holding the Blue Devils scoreless until the final minutes of the game while causing two more turnovers on the night. Quarterback Zeb Adreon once again led the Trojans in rushing with 121 yards and two touchdowns. With the 2-1 start to the season, head coach Gabe Bakker sees his team having fun and enjoying the season. Pleasantville improves to 1-0 in Class A District 8 and will host Nodaway Valley next Friday night.
