Whether or not it was planned, both Melcher-Dallas and Twin Cedars won by final scores of 68 – 8 over their competitors yesterday. The Saints blew out Harmony on the road, thanks to a great night from Alex Mitchell, who went 6-for-8 passing for around 170 yards. The Sabers in their homecoming game had no problem with a struggling Seymour squad. Melcher-Dallas improves to 3 – 1 on the season and 2 – 0 in Eight Man District 6, the Sabers are 2 – 2 and 1 – 1, respectively. The Saints are at Seymour next week, and Twin Cedars will be at Wayne.
