Central’s volleyball team took a win and a loss from their first day at the North Park Clash in Illinois. The Dutch swept Aurora, 25 – 13, 25 – 16 and 25 – 21, before fighting tough with North Central in a five-set loss, 21 – 25, 25 – 21, 23 – 25, 25 – 21 and 14 – 16. Emily Stoakes had 18 kills against North Central and Mollie Mason had 13 in the loss. The Dutch are now 4 – 2 on the season and take on North Park and Knox in the finale of their tournament play later today.
