The Trojans won 21 – 19, 19 – 21, and 15 – 8 over Ankeny Christian, and over Coon Rapids in pool play, 23 – 21, 21 – 23, and 15 – 13. Pleasantville won two-of-three over Adair Casey and swept C-A-M before getting another go at Coon Rapids and falling in the championship game, 21 – 19, 16 – 21, and 13 – 15. Alli Friday had 83 assists on the day, Kylie Busick registered 26 digs, and Avari Heinz-Pence had 16 kills. The Trojans are an impressive 6 – 1 on the season, and they have a conference match next on the docket for Tuesday against Martensdale – St. Mary’s.
