The Central women’s tennis team stormed into Dubuque and left with two convincing 7 – 2 victories over both the Spartans and Loras yesterday. The only losses to Dubuque were to their freshman standout, Aranxta Martinez, who is undefeated in conference singles play. The Dutch swept singles versus the DuHawks, but struggled in doubles play. Central is now 7 – 3 overall and 4 – 3 in the Iowa Conference, and they will host the league individual tournament this weekend starting on Friday.
