It’s the biggest game of Pella Christian’s football season so far, as the Eagles head out east to face number-one ranked Iowa City Regina, for the Class 1A District 6 championship. The Regals have lost just one game, and that was in overtime in Week One to Class 3A Solon. In district play, Regina has defeated everyone by an average difference of just over 41 points per game. Drew Cook leads their passing attack, with a 63% completion percentage and 1,225 yards through the air. The Regals are also dangerous on the ground, having gained almost 1,900 yards. Coach Rich Kacmarynski says that if his guys play to their potential, they should be right there with Regina. The Eagles’ fight for a district title will be live on 92.1 KRLS tonight with Cory Houser and Larry Hessing on the play-by-play. Pre-game coverage starts at 6:30 p.m. with kick-off at seven.
