They’ve endured about two months of practices, scrimmages, and games, and entering the final week of the regular season, the Pella High football team is not just feeling good about where they are at, they’re just plain feeling good. The Little Dutch just got Austin Schulte back from an injury, Nathan Henry was out against Saydel with a minor concussion, but is expected to play this Friday against Chariton, and that’s basically it. There are a few bumps and bruises here and there, but Pella High, should they take care of business early against the Chargers, have a chance to enter the playoffs as close to 100% as they can be. Coach Jay McKinstrey says they are very fortunate to be in this situation. Where everyone is going for the playoffs is to be determined after all games go final this Friday night.
