The Knoxville Boys Cross Country Squad finished seventh at the Centerville Meet yesterday. Cade McNeill led the Panthers with a 23rd place finish in a time of 18:27. The girls were tenth overall as Lucy Olson came across the line in 46th in a time of 17:43. Coach Michael Splavec tells KNIA/KRLS Sports both teams are starting to focus in on the big meet of the season. He says the boys are shooting for the South Central Conference crown next Tuesday while the girls have set a goal of a top 3. The conference meet will be held at Pine Knolls Country Club in Knoxville.
