Former Knoxville Cross Country Standout Wick Cunningham was named the Mid-America Intercollegiate Association’s Men’s Cross Country Athlete of the Week.The Northwest Missouri State runner finished third overall and first as an attached runner at the Planet Sub Invitational in Emporia, Kansas last week. His time in the 8K course was 26:26.7 which was a season best by 22 seconds. Cunningham’s efforts also allowed the Bearcats to win the team title. Cunningham will run Fayetteville, Arkansas this Saturday.
