After defeating their rivals in the first round of the Class 1A regional tournament last week, Melcher-Dallas’ volleyball squad looks for another win tonight on the road against Southeast Warren. The two schools met up not too long ago at the Wayne tournament, where the Warhawks came away with a two-set sweep of the Saints, 21 – 11 and 21 – 13. Southeast Warren has a record of 11 – 10 entering today’s match, and have a kill efficiency of 4.9%. Most of their damage comes on the serve, averaging almost 2.5 aces per set and get 92% of their serves over the net. Tonight’s round two match is scheduled to begin at seven.
