The Pleasantville football team took down the Eagles of Clarinda Academy, 71-6, to advance to the postseason for the first time since 2007 as heard on KNIAKRLS.com. Quarterback Zeb Adreon passed for 150 yards on the night while the Trojans were able to roll up 232 yards on the ground. The Trojan defense also came up big, holding the Eagles to only 34 yards of total offense and three first downs. With the Trojans locked into the postseason for the first time in seven years, head coach Gabe Bakker knows how important Wednesday night’s game is to the community. Pleasantville finishes the regular season 5-4 and 4-3 in Class A District 8 and will travel to Montezuma in the first round of the playoffs on Wednesday.
