Expectations are high for the Knoxville Girls Basketball Squad, and there is good reason. 91% of the scoring is back from last season, the girls are a year older and most experienced on the court. Coach Jim Uitermarkt tells KNIA/KRLS Sports the girls have the talent to do great things this season. Uitermarkt says one thing that he does not want to see if that dead quarter that haunted the team last year. He says if they can control long dry spells and keep them to a minimum, and not turn the ball over, the team should have a chance in every game.
